The top national medical school in the US*, Johns Hopkins University, now has the Regenova

Baltimore, MD - The Regenova 3D bioprinter has been installed in Dr. Hibino’s lab in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Hibino’s lab will develop scaffold-free multilayer functional engineered cardiac tissue created from cell spheroids consisting of iPS cell-derived cardiomyocytes, endothelial cells, pericytes, and fibroblasts using a 3D bioprinter. This will constitute a significant step toward a new generation of alternative stem cell treatment for heart failure.
